David’s recent transactions include lead role in Ghana’s $547m Compact with the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the USA, advice on a proposed $1.4b railway concession, the establishment of a new mortgage bank involving a $30m OPIC facility, procurement and concessions specialist advise to the Government of Liberia/World Bank and Government of Nigeria/USAID, share acquisition in Fidelity Bank and a proposed housing project in Angola.

Isabel’s experiences are in the areas of Intellectual Property, Public sector/Regulatory Reform, PPPs, Government contracts and Public Procurement. She worked as the legal analyst for the development of National Policy Guidelines for PPPs in Ghana and on procurement and concessioning reform for the Government of Liberia. She has also worked on the administration of procurement processes for the selection of managers for the privatization of Bus terminals in Ghana and on a TIPCEE/USAID PPP project for the operation and management of a fruit shed at the Tema Port.

Emmanuel's experience has been in Property &

several of our local and international clients. Emmanuel has also
negotiated and developed human resource policies for several of our
diverse clientele and has been at the centre of the resolution of
several labour disputes.
Significantly, Emmanuel has been general
counsel for several years for Messrs Facol Roads, one of Ghana's
topmost construction companies and this experience is brought to bear
on his practice.

Akyaa’s experience has been in corporate, commerce and Finance Law, Investment Law and Property & Real Estate. She was the project officer of the Land Law Focal Area of the Legal Pluralism and Gender Project of the German Development Corporation.
Akyaa worked on the procurement of a $30 million OPIC facility for a new mortgage company and was a project team member of the World Ban k sponsored retrofitting of the Ghana trade and investment gateway strategy. She was also a member of the legal team that drafted now promulgated Procurement and Concessions Act, 2005 of Liberia and notably a member of the team of solicitors advising the Government of Ghana on the Millennium challenge Account.

A first class honours student, Ferdinand holds a Master’s Degree from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. His experience has been in the area of Research, Investment Law, Commercial Law and International Ttrade particularly the ECOWAS regime relating to investment and doing business in the sub-region.
He was involved in the firm’s research on Local Government Laws as preparatory work towards the publication of a handbook on Local Law and is currently working on the implementation of Ghana’s Millennium Challenge (MCA) Programme.
